Lake Natron Active Safari
Already visited the Serengeti? Interested in more cultural and active outings? This itinerary might be just the thing.
Lake Natron is a soda lake found at the base of the active volcano named Ol Donyo Lengai. It means “mountain of God” in the Masai language. The area in the region of Lake Natron is frequently described as having a desolate and almost lunar beauty, and the lake is a photographer’s dream. A walk in the region of the lake and to the streams and waterfalls along the nearby escarpment presents an extraordinary adventure.
